Chandigarh: Restaurants including hotels, coffee shops, eating places, marriage palaces and banquet halls will be allowed to function at halved capacity in Chandigarh.

The decision comes amid a sudden spike in the number of COVID-19 cases and global concern over the highly-contagious Omicron variant of coronavirus.
