CM KCR inaugurates integrated district Collectorate complex in Wanaparthy

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Tuesday inaugurated newly constructed Integrated District Collectorate complex in Wanaparthy district.
He took part in a series of development works including launch of the ‘Mana Ooru- Mana Badi’ programme and the TRS party district office before inaugurating the Collectorate complex which was constructed in over one lakh sft.

Religious leaders offered special prayers at the newly inaugurated complex. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said Telangana was number one in all the sectors along with per capita power consumption and per capita income of the individuals.
This credit would go to the government employees, he said announcing Rs.1 crore for the district and Rs.50 lakh for the municipalities and Rs.20 lakh for the Gram Panchayats in the district.
Wanaparthy is a district in the southern part of Telangana. It was carved out of Mahabubnagar district. The district is spread over an area of 2152 square kilometres and according to the 2011 Census of India, the district has a population of 5,77,758.
The district comprises of one revenue division at Wanaparthy and 14 mandals. The district administration made elaborate security arrangements in connection with the visit of the Chief Minister.
Agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other senior officials were also present.
