Career Path
In 2005, as a model she won the contest “Model of the Year” award at the Kingfisher fashion awards and gain fame after she appeared in Kingfisher Calender campaign.
She becomes widely popular when she featured in Himesh Reshammiya songs “Naam Hai Tera” album “Aap Ka Surroor” in 2005.
For acting skill she joined film academy of Anupam Kher and learned acting and dance by Shiamak Davar.
She acted debut movie Aishwarya which is romantic Kannada film directed by Indrajit Lankesh in 2006.
Deepika was appoint for Bollywood debut movie Saawariya produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali but due to Anil Kapoor‘s daughter Sonam Kapoor was signed in replaced of her.
Farah Khan had noticed her in Himesh’s song and got offered to Deepika to play role in “Happy New Year” but later film was cancelled released in 2014.

In 2008 she played role with Ranbir Kapoor in romantic film Bachna Ae Haseeno and in 2009 Chandni Chowk To China with Akshay Kumar in which she played twin sister “Suzi” she learned Japanese marital art and perform all the stunts herself in this movie.
Controversy
She got offered to role in Furious 7 in 2015 but she does not accepted the offer due to other films contracts.
The famous news portal “Times of India” tweeted on Deepika Post “OMG Deepika Padukone’s cleavage show” on 14 September 2014 after the tweet, Deepika Padokone answered the trickery and bashed at the TOI’s tweeted for unmannered and tweeted “Yes I am a women. I have breasts, I have a cleavage. You got a problem?”

After the Sushan Singh Rajput suicide case she stuck in drug case by Narcotic Control Bureau (NCB) when Rhea Chakraborti revealed some stars name one of the name was in list of NCB is Deepika Padukone. According to some news cahnnel indicated her involvement in the Drug racket which networks is spread in Bollywood. Whatsapp chats from October 2017 which revealed some code words chats in the chats “K” and “D” are discussing drugs supplies message to Sushant former manager Jaya Saha; ‘D’ asking for “maal” and ‘K’ who replies she has it, but it is at home and then clarifies ‘D’ that she needs “hash” and not “weed” as makes a plan to meet up at a restaurant.

Deepika was born on 5 January 1986 in Denmark but her family was moved in Benguluru when she was just 11 months old.
She is inspired her father Prakash Padukone due to badminton players, she also wanted to make a career in Badminton and started playing at a young age and played State-level badminton till her high class was not completed.
Deepika had few friends she does not socially active in early age.
But after some time her mind was changed declined her dream and started modeling in the age of 17 and made her first catwalk but before entered in modeling she also worked as child artist and done advertising campaign at the age of eight, then she changed her mind to become fashion model.
In November 2018 after the four years relationship between Deepika and Ranveer, they tied knot in Italy.
