New Delhi: As COVID-19 cases in India continue to decline, the Election Commission on Sunday decided to restore the maximum limit on number of star campaigners with immediate effect. As per the updated guidelines, there can be 40 individuals for national or state parties and 20 for other than recognized parties. The list of additional star campaigners can be submitted to the EC until 5 pm on February 23.
