Amid ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine, India strongly advocated for diplomacy and dialogue to resolve the conflict. Speaking at the UNSC briefing on Ukraine, TS Tirumurti, India’s Permanent Representative to UN also urged member nations to ensure full implementation of the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC).”We sincerely hope ongoing direct negotiations between Russia & Ukraine would lead to cessation of hostilities. There’s no other alternative except the path of diplomacy and dialogue.
