JnNURM houses allotted through draw of lots in Patancheru

Sanagreddy: MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy has said that the allotment of 737 Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JnNURM) has been completed through draw of lots.
The houses were built close to Rameshwara Banda in Patancheru Mandal in Sangareddy district, but they have remained unoccupied for many years now for various reasons. They were built using the funds under JnNURM and Valmiki Ambedkar Awas Yojana (VAMBAY). While 471 beneficiaries were from Patancheru town, 156 were selected from the Rameshwar Banda. The remaining were selected from Auto drivers (79), Ramachandrapuram (20) and Ameenpur (11). Speaking on the occasion, the MLA has said that they have made the allotment of the houses in a transparent way. He has called upon the people not to fall prey if anyone lure them assuring to getting the houses allotted.
He further said that they will also allot the 2-BHK houses in Patancheru Constituency in the similar way. Additional Collector J Veera Reddy, MPP Sushma Venugopal Reddy, ZPTC Supraja Venkat Reddy, GHMC Corporator (Patancheru) Mettu Kumar Yadav, MRS Mahipal Reddy, Vijay Kumar and others were present.
