KTR helps two meritorious girls pursue their education

Hyderabad: Industries Minister KT Rama Rao assured to extend financial assistance to 21-year-old Kaveri and 18-year-old Shravani from Jayashankar Bhupalpally to complete their medicine and engineering courses respectively.
Both the sisters, studied in TSWREIS and TS Model School. After learning about their situation through social media, the Minister offered help to the students. On Sunday, both Kaveri and Shravani along with their father Kothula Raja Malu met the Minister here in the city.

Raja Malu, a Political Science Graduate, had worked as a teacher in a private school. During Covid, he lost the job and is presently working as a daily wage worker.
Kaveri, who secured 95 per cent in intermediate, bagged admission in MBBS Course at Surabhi Medical College, Siddipet. Similarly, Shravani secured 97 per cent in intermediate, got admission in B.Tech (ECE) in NIT, Tadepalligudem, Andhra Pradesh.
While, both the students secured free seats, they were unable to pay other fees, including hostel and mess charges.
KT Rama Rao assured to provide financial assistance to both the students till they complete their courses. The Minister wished them all success for their future endeavors. Both the students thanked the Minister for extending financial assistance and helping them complete their education.
