Power outage thing of past in Telangana: Indrakaran Reddy

Nirmal: Forest Minister Allola Indrakaran Reddy asserted that interruptions in power supply had become a thing of the past in Telangana. He inaugurated a power substation in Sarangpur mandal centre built at a cost of Rs 20 crore, on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Indrakaran stated Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was allocating adequate funds to ensure an uninterrupted supply of power to rural and urban parts. He said that the power substation was established to provide quality electricity to the people of Sarangapur mandal. It was the ninth one to have been set up in this mandal, he said.
The Minister recalled that citizens were facing inconvenience due to outages and erratic supply of power in the past. However, the breakdown and low-voltage menaces would end with the advent of the facility. He added that over 50 power substations were set up for making sure that farmers and the general public get quality power in Nirmal Assembly constituency so far.
