Punjab election 2022: ‘It has been taken over by wrong people’ – Kumar Vishwas responds to AAP MLA Raghav Chadha’s counter

New Delhi: Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Kumar Vishwas, on Thursday, responded to AAP leader Raghav Chadha’s counter to his claims against Arvind Kejriwal and said that he stood by the allegations he leveled against the Delhi CM. A political war-of-words broke out after Vishwas alleged that Kejriwal collaborating with Khalistani terrorists.

“I’ve nothing to do with politics; anybody can win or lose. Be it BJP, Congress, Akali Dal, or AAP who wins polls, it doesn’t matter to me. But what I said is true. I belonged to a party that I had formed, it has been taken over by wrong people,” Vishwas told news agency ANI.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also hit out at AAP citing Vishwas’ claims, and said that they were willing to break India to grab power.

“Every Indian should seriously think about the charges made by (Kejriwal’s) former aide (Kumar Vishwas). Brothers and sisters, they are trying to break India. They are even ready to ally with separatists. They won’t shy away from breaking India in order to grab power. their agenda is the same as that of India’s enemies and Pakistan,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said while addressing a rally ahead of Punjab Elections 2022.

Powers are trying to break AAP: Raghav Chadha

Addressing a press conference, AAP responded to the allegations leveled against Kejriwal by Vishwas. AAP MLA Raghav Chadha said that the people of Punjab are smart enough to understand that these ‘powers’ are trying to break the AAP.

“This is malicious propaganda against the Aam Aadmi Party and the people of Punjab understand this. Which terrorist provides world-class education to students?” Chadha said. Before Vishwas, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi had alleged that Kejriwal was meeting ‘Khalistanis’.
