Times Now-Veto Punjab Opinion Poll 
New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party is set to emerge victorious in the Punjab Legislative Assembly Elections 2022, as per Times Now-Veto Opinion Poll announced on Tuesday (February 8). The Times Now Survey has found that the Arvind Kejriwal-led party, which has named Bhagwant Mann as its chief ministerial candidate in the northern state, will likely bag between 62 to 66 seats. There are a total of 117 seats in the Punjab Legislative Assembly.
Punjab is currently ruled by the Congress party which is likely to win 41-44 seats in the February 20 election.

The opinion poll also said that the Shiromani Akali Dal, which last ruled in the state in alliance with the BJP, will manage to grab just 8-11 seats.
The newly-formed Punjab Lok Congress led by Amarinder Singh in unlikely to make its mark in the 2022 Punjab elections, as per the latest Times Now survey. The party has allied with the BJP for the Punjab polls and the alliance is likely to win just 0 to 3 seats. Others including Independents in the state may bag between 1 and 2 seats, as per the pre-election survey.
Further, as per the survey, the AAP is expected to bag a handsome 44.61 per cent vote share in the Punjab Elections 2022. The Congress, on the other hand, may finish with 33.53 per cent vote share.
The BJP alliance is likely to be decimated with just 3.99 per cent vote share and the SAD may manage to grab 13.25 per cent of the total votes in the Punjab elections.
It may be noted here that the incumbent Congress has named current Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi as its CM candidate in the upcoming polls.
The state goes to polls in a single phase on February 20. The polls were initially scheduled for February 14 but the date was changed later by the Election Commission after a request from the political parties in the state.
