Hyderabad: The Legal Metrology Department in Hyderabad has booked a case against Ulavacharu restaurant at Gachibowli for Unfair Trade Practices after a city resident Vinay Chand Vangala complained of selling soda without MRP and manufacturing dates.
According to the complainant, two bottles of goli soda were priced at Rs 178 on the final bill. Further, the details of MRP, manufacturing and expiry dates were missing on the bottles.
In a copy issued by the Legal meteorology department, a case has been registered on the restaurant for the violation of Rule 6(1)a of Legal Meteorology rules, 2011, after conducting inspections at trading premises on February 2nd.
