As per the fresh SOP, issued late in the evening on Monday, all government offices have been directed to operate with full strength from March 1. However, all political rallies and protests have been banned in the state till March 10, it stated. Earlier in February, the Uttarakhand government had lifted the night curfew imposed in the state on December 27, 2021, following a decline in daily COVID-19 cases. It had also allowed gyms, shopping malls, cinema halls, spas, salons, theatres, auditoriums, and meeting halls to open and operate with full capacity. The state reported 61 new coronavirus infections and three deaths in the last 24 hours, according to Union Health Ministry data updated today. A total of 120 people recovered in the last one day, taking the recovery rate in the state to 97.7 percent. Active cases fell below the one-lakh mark after 60 days in the country, the data updated at 8 am stated. The country saw a reduction of 10,129 cases in the active COVID-19 caseload in a span of 24 hours. The daily positivity rate in India was recorded at 0.77 percent, said the health ministry, adding that the weekly positivity rate was recorded at 1.11 percent. The number of people who have been recovered from the infection surged to 4,23,24,550, the data showed.
