With anti-BJP front on agenda, Telangana CM in Delhi to meet Arvind Kejriwal, other leaders

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar RaoPhoto : IANSNew Delhi: Continuing his efforts to bring together like-minded parties for an anti-BJP front, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is expected to meet Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal in the national capital on Tuesday. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief reached Delhi along with his Cabinet colleagues o Monday.K Chandrasekhar Rao, also called as KCR, is also expected to meet some leaders of other national political parties.Chandrasekhar Rao’s Delhi visit comes days after he met Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar on February 20.Notably, former prime minister and Janata Dal-Secular president HD Deve Gowda had earlier extended his support to the fight launched by Rao against the religious polarisation of politics by the BJP government at the Centre.”Rao Saab, you are fighting very well. Everyone should fight against the communal elements. To protect our country’s secularism, culture and its diverse culture we will be with you and support you. Continue your fight and our total support will be there for you,” the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) quoted the former PM as saying.
