She and another Ellipse rally organizer, Amy Kremer, publicly distanced themselves from others who have spoken to the committee, such as rally booster Dustin Stockton.
Pierson and a committee spokesperson both declined to comment.
The panel had sought to ask Pierson about her reported meeting with the former president on Jan. 4, 2021, where he asked about a separate event featuring fringe speakers such as Ali Alexander and Roger Stone.
In addition to organizing the rally, Pierson also spoke to the crowd in front of the White House on Jan. 6, boosting unfounded claims that the election was stolen.
“I mean, come on, nobody really believes this crap. But hey, there’s something going on in the Capitol today,” she said, referring to Congress’ efforts to certify President Joe Biden’s win. “And I don’t think they can hear you!”
“And even if they think for a second that they’re gonna get away with it today, they’ve got another thing coming,” she added.
“You better believe, the next two years, we are watching today, we are taking names today,” she continued. “And I don’t know, are you guys going to forget? Because today moving forward, we have hundreds of days for them to hear from us, for them to see us, and for them — to work on replacing them one by one if we have to.”
She’s a longtime member of Trump World, and was a spokesperson for his 2016 presidential campaign. Before joining the campaign, Pierson was a prominent Tea Party leader based in Texas.
