Dhivya Suryadevara is an Indian American executive who is serving currently as the Chief financial officer of an American e-commerce payment company Stripe and she was also the former Executive Vice President and first female Chief financial officer in General Motors.

Dhivya Suryadevara was born on 14 April 1979 (42years) in Chennai Tamil Nadu, India. Her Zodiac sign is Aries. Dhivya is a very hard-working, passionate, and fully determined woman. Her mother has always taught her that nothing comes easy and hard work is the only key to success. She did her schooling at St.John’s Senior secondary school in Mandaveli, Chennai. After which she did her bachelor’s and master’s degree in commerce from Ethiraj College for women from the University of Madras. She has also done chartered accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India were, she was a rank holder. While pursuing her studies at Madras University she worked in Pricewaterhouse coopers for 3 years. In the year 2000 when Dhivya was 22, she went to pursue her MBA from Havard University of Business. After which in 2002 she did her internship at the World Bank and joined as an Associate Director in UBS which is a Swiss investment bank. After a year in 2004, Dhivya joined General Motors. She was appointed as the Chief investment officer of General Motor Asset Management in 2013. In 2015 she became the Vice President of Finance and Treasure. Later in 2017, she became the first female Chief financial officer at General Motors and finally, in 2020, she was recruited as the Chief Financial officer in Stripe which is an e-commerce payment company.

Dhivya Suryadevara after completing her education and internship of 4 months in the World Bank she started her first job in Swiss investment bank UBS as an Associate director in 2003. She served there for 1 year and 1 month

After leaving her job at UBS she joined General Motors treasures office in September 2004 as a Senior financial analyst. She continued for 1 year 2 months and left in October 2005
