Shooter Jennings was born in the city of Nashville, Tennessee, on May 19, 1979. Waylon Jennings, his father, and Jessi Colter, his mother, were both musical superstars. He began his life in the cradle of a bus, surrounded by musical legends such as Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash. Shooter began playing drums at the age of five, most likely because of this. He began piano lessons at the age of eight and began playing the guitar at the age of fourteen.He started a rock band called KilRaven when he was in high school.
