Vineeta Singh was born in 1984 to a Hindu household and raised in Delhi. Insider. Vineeta holds the credentials of Electrical Engineer & Master of Business Administration, both of which are extremely valued. Her academic achievements were enough to get her a position at some of the top companies in the country, if not the world. To everyone’s amazement, she turned down a one-crore-a-year placement proposal from a global investment firm. She turned down the job since she was set on creating her own business.In April 2007, She co-founded Quetzal Online Private Limited, a Mumbai-based recruiting firm, after obtaining her MBA, with a fellow IIM student. She joined as a director at Quetzal. The firm offered HT services for recruiting and pre-employment background checks. She worked there for about 5 years. When the firm could not scale up, Vineeta opted to pursue her passion for fashion.

FabBag

Vineeta established FabBag in April 2012, which allows users to experience 3-4 major worldwide products every month. The firm was not successful in its early years and did not take off. Over years the brand emerged as valuable and now it has more than 50 worldwide brands are affiliated with Fab Bag.

After failing to establish two prior firms and turning down a full-time job offer from a multinational investment bank, Vineeta Singh founded Sugar Cosmetics. That’s correct.
