Arunachal youth abducted by China’s PLA from Upper Siang district, says BJP MP Tapir Gao

New Delhi: China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has abducted a 17-year-old boy from Arunachal Pradesh’s Upper Siang district.

Arunachal Pradesh Lok Sabha MP Tapir Gao in a tweet said that the youth was taken captive by the PLA from Indian Territory on Tuesday.

Another boy escaped from PLA’s custody and reported about kidnapping to local authorities, said the BJP MP and shared photographs of the abducted youth.

Gao told EastMojo that the youth was taken captive from the Siyungla area of Bishing village when he had gone hunting along with his friend.

Meanwhile, the district administration and state police is in constant touch with the Indian Army for the safe release of the missing youth.
