According to reports, six nuts of the railway track were found open near Ranopali railway crossing in Ayodhya Dham late on Saturday night. By the time railway personnel noticed this on Sunday morning, 3 important trains had passed by when the incident came to light.

As soon as it was reported, there was a stir in the Railway Department. The track was then repaired in hurry.

A complaint has been lodged by railway officials at Railway Protection Force police stations Ayodhya Cantt and Kotwali Ayodhya fearing a train accident following the incident. Railway Police Force (RPF) has registered a case of bolt theft.
