Foundation stone to be laid for developmental works in Sanath Nagar

Hyderabad: Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao will lay the foundation stone for developmental works worth Rs 61 crore in Sanath Nagar Constituency on February 12.
“When I escalated issues faced by the people living near Begumpet nala to the Minister, he immediately sanctioned Rs 45 crore,” Animal Husbandry Minister and Sanath Nagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav said in a press release.
The works include a retaining wall on both sides of the Begumpet nala, laying of pipelines and Vacuum Dewatered Cement Concrete (VDCC) roads. Once the works related to the Begumpet nala are completed, localities in and around the water channel will not be inundated, GHMC officials said.

While the bridge will be built with Rs 10 crore, the function hall will be taken up with Rs 6 crore. “The MA&UD Minister will also hold a meeting with officials of the South Central Railway to resolve issues delaying the developmental works in Sanath Nagar Constituency, the press release said.
