Hyderabad: The Petbasheerabad police on Wednesday foiled an alleged murder plan and arrested a gang that was reportedly plotting to kill Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud.
The suspects, hailing from Mahabunagar, had also hired a contract killer to execute their plan to kill the minister and his brother V Srikanth Goud, officials said.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Stephen Raveendra is expected to announce the arrest and give details later in the night.
