Netaji Jayanti or Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti is a national event celebrated in India to mark the birth anniversary of prominent Indian freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Each year on January 23, the great leader who played a pivotal role in the Indian independence movement is remembered by the nation and tributes are paid to him.

January 23, 2022, marks the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji. To mark this great occasion, a granite statue of the legend will be placed inside the canopy at the India Gate. The 28 feet tall and 6 feet wide statue will take some time to be completed and until then, a grand hologram of the statue will be present at the same place. The hologram is set to be unveiled today by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
