Lucknow: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Friday, launched its election theme song ahead of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2022. Besides Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the event to launch BJP’s theme song for UP elections was attended by Union Minister Anurag Thakur, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, state president Swatantra Singh Deo among others.
Taking a review of the development work carried out by the BJP, CM Yogi Adityanath announced that the election work for UP Assembly polls has begun. The song – UP maange BJP sarkar – will be the BJP’s theme song during the election rallies in the state.
“BJP has started the election campaign with this theme song. I thank the team that has worked behind the creation of this theme song… Five years ago, when we started our journey, we had aimed to achieve the Antyoday commitment through nationalism and development… Our endeavor has been to extend PM Narendra Modi’s vision of development for all,” Adityanath said.
He also shared the song on his Twitter handle. Uttar Pradesh goes to the polls in seven phases from February 10. The voting for the 403-seater Uttar Pradesh Assembly will take place between February 10 to March 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10. Earlier today, the Congress party also released its youth manifesto for Uttar Pradesh elections 2022. ” Youth in Uttar Pradesh needs a new vision, only Congress can give that vision to the state,” said Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
