New Delhi: A day after Congress leader Rahul Gandhi performed ‘Ganga aarti’ at the famous Har Ki Pauri Ghat during his visit to Uttarakhand, BJP leader Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga called him a “chunavi Hindu”.
Sharing a video clip, in which a priest can be seen guiding Rahul, Bagga said that one needs to take training if he is a “chunavi Hindu”
On Saturday, Rahul had posted on Twitter three videos of himself participating in the ‘Ganga aarti’ amid ‘Har Har Gange’ chants by the huge crowd present there.

Tweeting one video of himself offering prayers, Gandhi said in Hindi, “Salutations to Ganga ji! Praying for the bright future of Uttarakhand.”
Last month, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had also targeted the Gandhi family for its “divisive politics”.
Those who call themselves “accidental Hindus” cannot call themselves Hindus, said the UP CM adding that during the election, they become Hindu.
