Vemulawada temple teems with devotees

Rajanna-Sircilla: A huge number of devotees thronged the Vemulawada Rajarajeshwaraswamy temple on Monday, which is an auspicious day for the presiding deity.
The arrival of devotees to the shrine began from early in the morning and pilgrims were seen standing in serpentine queue lines to have a darshan of Lord Shiva. It took four hours-time to have a darshan of the presiding deity.
About 50,000 devotees visited the temple. On the occasion of Punarvasu Nakshatram, temple priests had performed Mahanyasapurvaka Ekadasha Rudrabishekam. Abhishekam was also performed to Sita Ramachandraswamy.

Finding the woman trying to hang herself from the ceiling, devotees who were present there raised alarm and foiled the suicide bid.
