While the account was restored shortly after, the hackers changed the name of Nadda’s account to ‘ICG Owns India’ and also asked for cryptocurrency donations for Russia and Ukraine. “Stand with the people of Ukraine,” the tweet said on Nadda’s timeline and asked for donations in cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin and Ethereum. In the next tweet, they said that the account was not hacked and the entire donation will be given to Ukraine. But soon both the tweets were deleted.Nadda Twitter HackedA few minutes later, another tweet came saying “Stand with the people of Russia,” and again asking for donations for Russians. This time, they said that the account was hacked and appealed to donate for Russian people as they need it.Nadda Twitter Hacked 2Later all the tweets were deleted and the account’s name was changed from Jagat Prakash Nadda to ‘ICG OWNS INDIA’. However, soon the account was restored and all the tweets asking for donations were deleted. Minister of State for Electronics and Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar said they are aware of the issue and are looking into it. “We are aware of the hack and CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) is looking into it,” Chandrasekhar told news agency ANI.
