Hyderabad: Buoyed by the success of the party in the Assembly elections in four States, the BJP top brass from New Delhi have reportedly decided to visit Telangana from April to prepare the party for the next Assembly elections in the State.
As announced by the State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar a few days ago that the national leadership was focusing on Telangana on all fronts, the party is considering organising a public meeting in April in Jangaon district which will be addressed by the saffron party’s national president JP Nadda.

Since the State unit chalked out plans to hold the second phase of Sanjay’s ‘Praja Sangrama Yatra’ from April, the party, sources said, was also considering inviting union Home Minister Amit Shah to flag off the yatra in the second week of April.
During his visit to Telangana, Shah is likely to interact with polling booth level activists and welcome leaders from other parties into the party. He might also prepare a road map for the next elections. Sources said the State unit was planning to invite Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also in April.
The sources said the visit of the BJP leaders from New Delhi and Uttar Pradesh would boost the morale of the cadre. Interacting with media persons after celebrating the party’s victory in the four States last week, Sanjay said the national leadership was making efforts to strengthen the party from booth-level and prepare it for Assembly polls in Telangana.
