Case booked against temple priest for allegedly hitting devotee in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A case was booked against a priest of a temple in Secunderabad for allegedly hitting and threatening a devotee who visited the temple.
According to the police, the devotee had come to the temple and was reportedly trying to enter the sanctum sanctorum when the priest objected and got angry resulting in the incident.

On a complaint made by the devotee, the Gopalapuram police booked a case under Section 323 and 504 of Indian Penal Code and are investigating.
