In the first and second qualifying rounds he beat K Vinay and Huang Ho respectively.
Sai Karteek then paired with Bava Hadib in men’s doubles and lost to top seeded pair Huang and Luncanu 2-6, 7-6, 3-10 in pre-quarterfinals.
