OP block to come up at Fever Hospital

Hyderabad: A state-of-the-art outpatient block with a cost of Rs 11 crore is coming up at Fever Hospital, Nallakunta. The foundation stone for the construction of the new OP block at Fever Hospital will be laid by Health Minister T Harish Rao on Saturday.
The new OP block which will have the high-end medical infrastructure for patients has been a much-awaited initiative, as the present OP building was not sufficient to accommodate the increasing daily patient inflow.
During the peak of seasonal ailments, the OP block of Fever Hospital receives anywhere between 800 and 1000 patients on a daily basis, which makes it difficult not only for the patients but also for the hospital authorities to ensure smooth operations. “The new facility will go a long way in providing ample space for patient inflow, especially during seasonal diseases. The works will be completed at the earliest,” Superintendent, Fever Hospital, Dr K Shankar said.
