Lucknow: An Opinion poll conducted by Times Now and VETO predicted that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led alliance will win the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2022 but its seat share will not be the same as previous polls. Samajwadi Party-headed alliance is projected to be the main challenger to Yogi Adityanath’s dispensation and may end up winning around 147-158 Assembly seats. Mayawati’s Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) which once ruled the state, seems to be nowhere in the political scenario. The survey included 26,776 respondents.
