UP Election 2022: Vote for Congress if you want jobs and development, appeals Priyanka Gandhi ahead of polls

Aligarh, UP: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday held a roadshow in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh and urged the people to vote for her party in the upcoming assembly elections if they want jobs and development in the state.

Launching a scathing attack at her rivals, Priyanka said other than Congress, all parties are doing the same type of politics. “I want to say to people that if you want a change, jobs, development in the state then vote for us. The rest of the political parties are doing the same type of politics,” she said.

During her roadshow, the Congress leader gave the grand old party’s youth manifesto ‘Bharti Vidhan’ to the BJP workers who were raising slogans in favor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.

She also conducted a door-to-door campaign in the Khair Assembly constituency of Aligarh.

On Friday, Ghaziabad, UP: Congress has intensified its campaign with just a few days left for the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Party’s general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Friday held a roadshow in Ghaziabad’s Sahibabad.

Sangeeta Tyagi, the wife of late Congress leader Rajiv Tyagi, who died in August 2020 following a cardiac arrest, is the Congress candidate from Sahibabad.

Priyanka campaigns aggressively in UP

Priyanka is aggressively campaigning in Uttar Pradesh with just a few days left for the assembly polls.

The assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held in seven phases starting February 10, while the last phase of polling will be conducted on March 7. The results will be declared on March 10, as per the Election Commission of India.

On Friday, the Congress leader had asserted that it’s for the first time that the grand old party is fighting on all 403 seats in Uttar Pradesh with all its might.

“We are fighting with all our might. It’s the first time in 30 years that our party has fought on all 403 seats. We are raising issues that pertain to the public and issues that are actually hurting the public,” she had said.
