Hyderabad: The MS Dhoni Cricket Academy began its operations at Delhi Public School Nacharam, Hyderabad on Thursday.
Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) chairman, Allipuram Venkateshwar Reddy inaugurated the training programme in the company of V Venkatram, Yasasvi Malka COO DPS & Pallavi group of institutions and Robin Jacob Director of Brainiacs Bee inaugurated the world class nets, pitch at the academy.
The nets and pitch were inaugurated in the presence of a few trainees. SATS chief lauded the efforts of M Komaraiah, Pro vice-chairman of DPS and Pallavi Group of Institutions for encouraging sports in all his schools by providing world class facilities.
Speaking on the occasion V Venkatram said, “said to become a good player first you have to be a good human being.” M Yasasvi mentioned that the minimum age to attend training in the academy is seven years and there is no upper limit to get into the academy.
